Montana Channel Migration Zone Projects - Yellowstone River
2009 Yellowstone River CMZ (with 2024 update for Park County)
The Yellowstone River CMZ project was initially completed in 2009 for 564 miles of the river from Gardiner to the Missouri River. The project was sponsored by the Yellowstone River Conservation District Council as part or their efforts to develop best management practices and perform a cumulative effects assessment of the Yellowstone River. The work was performed by DTM Consulting and Applied Geomorphology. The CMZ was updated in 2024 for Park County.
