For Internet Explorer (IE) 7.0

See the next section for help in finding out if you are using IE 7.0. If you are using IE 7.0, instead of taking you to the state publication submission site like IE 6.0 does, clicking the "Go" button takes you to an information screen that explains how to get to the submission site. A message on the left side near the top of this information screen says:

"To view this FTP site in Windows Explorer, click Page, and then click Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer."

To follow this instruction, find and select the Page icon on the right side of the IE 7 information screen, as shown here. Then, in the dropdown menu, select Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer. This takes you to the state publication submission site as shown here.

How to Find Out If You Are Using Internet Explorer (IE) 7.0

In Internet Explorer, select "Help" from the Menu Bar. If you don't see "Help", check "Menu Bar" on the "Tools" dropdown. "Help"will then appear. When you select "Help", its dropdown menu opens. From the "Help" dropdown menu, select "About Internet Explorer". Look for the first part of the version number, like 6.0 or 7.0.

How to on Drag and Drop or Cut and Paste

To drag and drop or cut and paste from your computer:
1. Locate the state publication file(s) where they reside on your computer, networked device, web site, or other location.

2. With the submission site open in a separate window, drag and drop the state publication(s) you are submitting to the State Library.
OR
2. Copy the state publication. Open the submission site and paste the state publication(s) there.

Note: Usually, neither of these methods will remove the state publication from its current location. If either removes the file from your computer, copy it back from the submission site.
