Help if you are using Internet Explorer (IE) 7.0
See the next section for help in finding out if you are using IE 7.0. If you are using IE 7.0, instead of taking you to the MARC records source site directly like IE 6.0 does, linking takes you to an information screen that explains how to get to the MARC records source site. The left side of this information screen says:
"To view this FTP site in Windows Explorer, click Page, and then click Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer."
To follow this instruction, on the right side of the IE 7 information screen, find and select the Page icon, as shown here. This opens a menu. On this menu, select Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer. This will open the MARC records source site as shown here.
How to Find Out If You are Using Internet Explorer (IE) 7.0
In Internet Explorer, select "Help" from the Menu Bar. If you don't see "Help", check "Menu Bar" on the "Tools" dropdown. "Help" will then appear. When you select "Help", its dropdown menu opens. From the "Help" dropdown menu, select "About Internet Explorer". Look for the first part of the version number, like 6.0 or 7.0.
