Collection Development
Introduction
Welcome to the Montana State Library's Online Collection Development class. We've divided the course into six parts. To review each part, follow the links below or click on the arrow that appears at the end of each section.
You will receive 6 continuing education credits in Collection Development and Technical Services for this course. You may work through it at your own pace. If it is easier for you to work through a section a week, you can do that or you can work through all 6 sections at once. This course does have an interactive component, so you will be asked to send some information to Maggie Meredith at the Montana State Library. The interactive components are designed to give you a chance to apply collection development theory to practice.
